Sheep and goats, wheat and tares. Which are you?
Goats and Sheep, Wheat and Tares
The separation has begun, the goats and the sheep are being separated, the wheat and tares are being separated.
Matthew 13: 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
And likewise, the sheep and goats are being separated:
Matthew 25: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world
A wise counselor in the Lord once spoke to me of this, the wheat and tares (sheep and goats) growing up together. He said sometimes they attend the same Church!
Now here is the miracle of Christ’s redemptive power: For yet a little while the goats/tares can repent, get earnest with the Lord and be transformed!
But time is short! The separation has already begun!
Now among the sheep are also ravenous wolves:
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Again, time is short!
The sheep already know who they are:
John 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
What is it for you? Are you one of Christ’s sheep, or are you one of the goats to be cut from the herd?
Are you of the wheat, or are you one of the tares, to be separated?
Again time is short!
If you are not sure where you are with Jesus Christ, seek him with all of your heart, repent of what you know to be wrong in his sight and he will accept you!
